Sense 2 counts dozens of flights of stairs

How do I submit a warranty claim for a defective sense 2?

My watch is having an issue where is will count dozenes of flight of stairs while I am walking on a flat level surface.

I have been dealing with customer service however they are unable to resolve the problem.

My Fitbit and my fitbit app are both at the latest software revision.

At this post I am extremely frustrated and need my watch replaced under warranty.

Hi @Darksighd

Any warranty claims must go through customer support.

here are the support contacts I've gleaned over the years on the forums.

when there is someone available, chat is an option. Phone or X/Twitter works well, too.

had this problem with my last two sense 1 then they died so finally got a sense two- my advice -don’t. With the sense two you can’t tailor your Watch as much as you could, the apps are minimum and shoddy; that linked with the absolutely abysmal app changes on the phone- they will lose so many loyal customers. I’ve been with them for around seven years and I can’t stand the sense two and new phone app. Time for a change. The only thing that kept me with them is the battery life but there are better alternatives- and tbh the phone app change was perfect before why they messed with it I have no clue. It’s sooooo ugly now. No colour no design no thought whatsoever. Like a baby put the thing together. We aren’t idiots but it was always a fun app they’ve drained all the life out of it.

@Darksighd

Do you know when it went wild, or has it been like that since you bought it?

Mine worked perfectly fine from Oct 2, -  Jun 30. Could be a coincidence of course, but it was the same day I installed Appver 3.84. If there is a connection, it should apply to a great many users.....I am meticulous about keeping the unit clean, so really have no idea why I am climbing height meters equivalent to the Himalayas every week.
