Sense 2 distance and steps not accurate

I have looked at previous posts and ensured my wrist settings and height are correct but the watch is still inaccurately calculating distance walked. I walked 11k at the weekend with 4 other people with smart watches, all who calculated the 11k correctly and my watch stated id only walked 8k

Hello @cgillespie23 was your GPS on, with a map?

Fitbit uses your age, weight, height, gender, to figure out what an average user's strife will be. However most people are not average.

If the walk was exactly 11K and your watch said 8K you may need to manually increase the stride by 1.39

I take a walk of an exact known distance (3 miles) then use the distance and steps to figure out the stride.
