Sense 2 does not have same distance as Fitbit App??

My FB app shows I walked 14K steps and a little over 6 miles. My Sense 2 watch also shows 14K steps but only 3.9 miles. This problem just started happening a few days ago. I am not sure how can both show the same number of steps but totally different distances. My step length is correct in the app. Suggestions on how to fix this?
