Sense 2 glitches since the update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since the update my Sense 2, randomly does not sync various data; hours active, sleep score, gps data is inaccurate, and calories burned is way too low: ie 245 active minutes and only 904 calories burned… is there a new update in the works to fix these problems? Yes I have shut it down and restarted several times and yes I have manually synced several times and I have opened and closed the app on my phone several times.

Hi @Pshafer - check in the Fitbit App, device/account (Connected to) page that you only have the Sense 2 connected to your account.

Pshafer,

Is your update working?  I just posted inquiring about this Sense 2 watch. How long have you had this watch? Are you happy overall with it ease of use (I rarely track sleep), but access to tracking exercise? What else would have you promote this product? I'm just coming off a Versa 2, sadly mine died.

@Pshafer - you can also try restarting the watch again  by holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for the logo to appear and for it to start.

Then on the watch, swipe the face left and tap on steps and make sure it is displaying heart rate, if not it may have developed a fault.

If there is no HR being detected it cannot calculate calories or sleep.

Sometimes the Fitbit App can have connection problems and  if the GPS is not working correctly try the activity in standalone mode (with phone Bluetooth switched off) so there is no syncing taking place, which may confuse the watch, you won't get any notifications during the time Bluetooth is off.

If there is a HR problem it is unlikely a factory reset will fix it but still worth a try, though this is not without risk and requires it be setup again.

It is a good idea to make a note of the names of any clocks and any special watch or app settings you use before the reset or replacement if it is still under warranty as it won't be 2 years yet and your country warranty period is 2 years.
