Sense 2 has black screen

My Sense 2 has been requiring more frequent factory resets, but now it has gone completely dark, won't reset ( not even a red x) and won't sync.

Charging it doesn't help.  Does it need to be replaced, or.is there something I can do to fix it.

Thanks for letting me know about this situation with the black screen of your Sense 2. Thanks for trying these steps to get this situation improved, can you answer the following, please?

- Are the LED lights on the back on?
- How long did you charge it for?
- Does it vibrate when you plug your Fitbit device into the charging cable?
- Have you tried the steps in our support article Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Called Google, and they said it is non-functional.   Had to order a new one.  They gave me a 35% discount.
