No Data on sleep for weeks. I changed nothing.
Also, when I take the sleep date back a few weeks when I had a night of data, the app deletes that data.
I really need to find a way to stop updates completely so that if I can find and fix the problem the watch does not stop working with no changes made on my side.
If they have moved it all over the the premium service, fair enough but I need to know when they are going to do that. Send me an email, anything.

It sounds like your issue is on the Phone's Fitbit App. My guess is your Fitbit App isnt getting this data from the server.
Who is they that is going to send you an email?

Hi there, 'they' as in the team that manage the software releases/ data centre changes, fitbit? Google?. I like the answer Rich, it would explain why it's deleting data.
Do they have a known sleep data server issue Rich?
Lack of support for the product is a bit weird. Watch will end up in the bin very soon. It's a shame because I dont want to be an apple watch person.

My Sense2 has also stopped recording sleep data. Very frustrating. This is my second Fitbit. I considered an Apple before the Sense2. Wish I had gone for it. Don’t know how to get help.

Okay - so strange. My Sense 2 has also stopped recording sleep data. In addition - there is no heart rate monitoring too. Thought my issues were unique or isolated but now I think there is a bigger system wide issue.

My data is back, even the previous data that was deleted by the server. Looks like, whatever problem is now sorted.
The thing that highlighted to me for sure that it was an inapp data issue was that my weekly overview WAS showing sleep data. Lack of support is mental. Love the watch but I suspect this will happen again. Lack of support makes it certain that I can never have my worries abated.

To stop the auto update, just to the app, click on the 3 dots on the top right hand corner. The third option has a box to check "enable auto update". Uncheck that box and the app won't auto update anymore.
Hope this helps

Thanks Ginny, I now realise the issue was with the server/ cloud/ data (most likely) so removing the auto update for the application would not have made a difference in this case. I will stop it anyway as it might stop another future issue from rearing it's head.
Cheers, rob.
