Hi so recently purchased sense 2 couple of weeks ago, have noticed at exercise classes heart rate is almost 40bpm below what it actually is when training, sense 2 was bought for heart rate monitoring mainly and feel disappointed already that it dosnt track accurately, anyone any tips?

Hi @Leannehark - unfortunately the new technology sensor used cannot be relied on for HR during repetitive movements, some experience low or high results but should be more accurate at rest.

I thought the new firmware for Sense 2 has machine learning heart rate algorithm. I'm not sure if it is learning from your heart rates, or its it got trained on a bunch of generic heart rates. But, generally it has been quicker to respond to instantaneous heart rate change. I bought those elastic straps so I can wear it higher up my forearm. I don't use an chest strap heart rate monitor anymore, so I can't compare the two, but still do use an optical HRM worn on the other forearm, and the fitbit heart rate display is always displaying the most up to date heart rate half to one second ahead. I only tried that during indoor cycling. Maybe try wearing it on your ankle if your exercise class consists of lots of wild arm movements.
