My Sense 2 is not accurately measuring walks eg I walk for 40 minutes and it shows 0.02 miles. It’s accurate if I run. It’s a new watch because my Versa 4 was doing the same. It seems to be a system failure. Please fix it Fitbit

Purchased a Sense 2 for both myself and wife for thanksgiving. We took a walk together and mine registered .93 miles and wife’s measured .86 miles. We were never more than 2 feet apart. I take the same path on a regular basis and a gps tracker app on my iPhone measures 1.2 miles and my much cheaper Amazefit watch also measures it at 1.2 miles and also displays a nice map of the path with heartbeat and speed indications on my phone. So far the hardware looks nice but the software …. (my mom always told me to not say anything if it isn’t nice).

I may have solved my issue with the walking distance. I noticed that the default for my new watch had GPS turned off for the walking exercise. You have to go to the exercise menu and go down through the options to turn it on since I couldn't find anything in the app about it. I also turned on the option to buzz me every 1 mile which I had on my other watch. Today walk distance was much closer to being realistic and it buzzed me at the 1 mile mark. I may have to charge more often, but it is worth the trade off.
