I have a Fitbit Sense 2.
For the past six hours or so, Fitbit is showing Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on my Fitbit.
I live in India, which is GMT+ 5 hours and 30 minutes. I went to Settings on my Fitbit app on my iPhone and checked "DATE & TIME". It shows Location: India; Time Zone: Asia/Kolkata. Both of these are as they should be.
I then clicked Time Zone and it said the 'Set Automatically From your phone' option is 'on', And my iPhone shows the correct Indian Standard Time (IST) which is GMT+ 5 hours and 30 minutes.
How do I get the Fitbit to show IST and not GMT.

Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to our new members.
Thanks for letting us know about this situation, and the steps that you've tried on your own. I wanted to let you know that this issue was escalated to our team, and it has been fixed.
I appreciate your patience and if you continue seeing the wrong time, I'd suggest opening the Fitbit app and pulling down on the Today screen to force a sync.

No reply yet. I'm about to send an email to Android Authority to get some press so they will address the issue.

I have been looking for answer from last 3 hrs and just now realised it is happening with so many people.
My watch is showing wrong time and I have tried every possible option. Updating, removing, disconnecting my device, app, etc but nothing seem to work.

But changed back to Singapore it mess up again.
I tried to change to Kuala Lumpur which is also GMT+8, still messed up.

Yes, I did all of the same and my time is still not working. I'm in Abu Dhabi so think it's affecting non-US customers?

And you've got the hand it to Fitbit.
Despite so many complaints, there is no response!!

Same issue for Charge 6 and Versa 4 devices on their forum sections. Seems to be certain time zones only. Fitbit status dashboard of course does not show any associated issue with this. I would presume showing correct time is one of the main functions of a smartwatch. Fitbit, what say?

I am experiencing the same issue with my Sense 2. I have tried resolving it by manually switching Location,Time zone, App signout, Phone restart but the problem persists.

I'm having the same issue. No matter how I change my time zone, uninstall and install the app, kept restarting my watch, it just didn't resolve the issue.
So I changed the country (with the same time zone) and it worked. You can try.
