I have a Fitbit Sense 2.
For the past six hours or so, Fitbit is showing Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on my Fitbit.
I live in India, which is GMT+ 5 hours and 30 minutes. I went to Settings on my Fitbit app on my iPhone and checked "DATE & TIME". It shows Location: India; Time Zone: Asia/Kolkata. Both of these are as they should be.
I then clicked Time Zone and it said the 'Set Automatically From your phone' option is 'on', And my iPhone shows the correct Indian Standard Time (IST) which is GMT+ 5 hours and 30 minutes.
How do I get the Fitbit to show IST and not GMT.

Yes - SIX HOURS AFTER I posted the first complaint.
If you are Google, you've got to do better. Each new version of Fitbit introduces sophisticated features that do little for most users and lets them down on the essential ones that really matter

Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to our new members.
Thanks for letting us know about this situation, and the steps that you've tried on your own. I wanted to let you know that this issue was escalated to our team, and it has been fixed.
I appreciate your patience and if you continue seeing the wrong time, I'd suggest opening the Fitbit app and pulling down on the Today screen to force a sync.

Time came back to local time. It seems to be solved. Thank you. I understand it was a global issue on linux platform date service. The reach was broader than Fitbit and Google. However, no communication at all from Fitbit during the bug. Client service was a major strength before the takeover by Google.

I do hope the courntries list has been enhanced for a better experience for users, or is this a roadmap item.
