Sense 2 keeps restarting on its own

I posted earlier about this problem.  I did the steps recommended of powering down my Sense 2 and changing my clock face.  That worked for about two days then the problem started up again.  I have now powered down and changed the clock face again.  Currently it has been working good for a little over 12 hours.  I had a Fitbit Blaze, then a Fitbit Sense, and now this Sense 2.  I loved my Blaze and Sense.  I was loving this Sense 2 but I feel it is totally ridiculous that I have to power down and change my clock face in order for it to work properly.  I haven't had a firmware update since I don't know when.  The version I have is 184.52.  A new version is supposed to be coming out but is on hold.  Is this a Fitbit issue or a Google issue?  Since it switched to Google it seems that is when my issues started.  My husband was wanting to get a tracker and I was going to have him get a Fitbit but now I really don't know.  He will be way less tolerant than I am.  My warranty will be up in early November.  I am trying to determine if it is an issue with "my" tracker or if it is a firmware issue that will be fixed ONCE A NEW VERSION COMES OUT, who knows when that will be.  Fitbit needs to get with the program and get back to the quality product and service they used to be/have!!!!

Hi @DianeCB - Sometimes the problem can be due to a syncing issue and/or Gallery issue. What can happen is that the watch syncs which enables it to start loading clocks or clock changes which aren't successful. Other times certain clocks may have bugs and cause issues.

Only by using a Fitbit standard clock can you ascertain if it is a clock issue and heading to the Gallery tile see if there is a switching operation ongoing when it syncs.

Finally turn off the phone Bluetooth and turn it on only for a manual sync and see if that eliminates the issue.

A firmware update rarely fixes a problem [unless it is a known issue] and in the case of 194.61 actually creates problems. A better approach is to troubleshoot the issue and if it turns out to be the watch [it can happen] get it replaced.

In cases where the OS becomes corrupt a factory reset can also resolve the problem, but it has to be set up again from scratch. You can do this from the watch settings menu.

Thanks for your reply.  I have only been using the Fitbit standard clock that was on the tracker from the time I purchased it.  I only started using another clock face because of the previous suggestion when I originally posted about this issue a week or two ago.  I'm sorry, I don't quite understand your comment about turning off the phone Bluetooth and turn it on only for a manual sync.  Can you explain further?  If I leave my phone Bluetooth off then anytime I need it for while I am driving I will have to keep turning it on and then off again.  Is there a way to tell if the OS has become corrupted?  Thank you!

@DianeCB - if you need Bluetooth for car hands free then you can't turn it off.

The only way to know if the OS got corrupted is it works again properly after a factory reset.
