I've had my watch for only a year.
All of a sudden it changed to be on only when I push the button instead of movement and button. I went to settings as I had not changed them. The watch was changed to "button only" to get the screen to show.
I tried changing it, I can't because supposedly the watch is on "sleep mode" and I have to change that first. I go and try to change it, it's already "off". Ok. I restart to see if that helps. Nope. Still "off" but I can't change the setting because the watch think sleep mode is on. The button is greyed out so I can't turn it on or off at all (sleep mode).
No updates are available.
Honestly, I even purchased a Samsung watch, the latest because I absolutely despise the new dashboard on fitbit. I sent it back only because it was way too large for me. My next step is to stop in at a store so I can check out the Samsung models because that is how disappointed I am with my fitbit. It should last longer than a year. I was keeping an eye out for a new watch this year but all they put out was a kids watch lol. Seriously, they will all be gone soon IMO, and they will only sell us Pixel watches. Bad idea Google, to take a brand that was great and destroy it.

If you scroll up to Quick Settings screen, what is the status of the 6 symbols there? Are any of them turned on bright?
