My Sense2 stopped syncing since Monday 23rd October 2023. I’ve followed all suggestions online but nothing has worked . Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi @MacAtsaoir - it can happen or now be related to the new app.

First try Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on.

Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync.

Thank you Guy. I held the button for 10 secs and it seems to have rebooted
as it has synced. Hopefully it will be ok from now. Thanks again

That is what mine is doing this morning.

It's good to see you participating in the community @MacAtsaoir @Laura351.

Thanks for sharing the details about this difficulty that you are experiencing with your devices. Sorry about that.

In addition to the very accurate information that @Guy_ provides, I'd add the following help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hi @evoo  - probably best to post these issues in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the appropriate iOS or Android app forums along with the other unhappy users where you will see more fully the issues.

Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time already mentioned there. This could take months to get this test version to anywhere near how the previous version was.

Note: switching to a Google account can also create issues and is unreversible.

The thing that worked for me in the end on the sense 2 was to hold the
button on the side for 10 seconds until the Fitbit sign came up. A few
seconds later it started working properly again. Been ok since. Hope that
works for you
Kind regards

Thank you. I already tried that and doesnt fix the problem. Every single day I add the fitbit in the app as a new device and then sync…

Dont figure out a solution.

The Sense 2 clearly will not work with the iPhone 15 Pro.  Have tried all of the suggestions for days now and still won't stay sync'd for calls and notifications.  Pissed off I wasted my money on this instead of an iWatch.  Google screwed up Nest and now they will screw up Fitbit.

This answer justifies my response in a nutshell! The steps given certainly work for me. I exercise twice a day and I lose Bluetooth at least once per day and have to go through rebooting the watch as described and sometimes also my phone. I have had it. After three Fitbit watches I am saddened to leave but I am going to look for something else. I will have a Sense 2 for sale cheap soon!
