Sense 2 not working after first time swimming/water lock

My Sense 2 quit working after the first time I used the swim and water lock feature. Have googled/read here suggestions and 24 hours later it is still not working. More suggestions? I feel like this is a very defective feature for fitbit products based on what I am reading.

Hi @RedeemingKaren - it depends what you mean by not working.

If there is no display after holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for the logo to appear and for it to start, then it may have got water in it.

Try charging but if it gets hot stop immediately, in any case don't leave it unattended.

If the watch doesn't start automatically after 30 or with the button it has a fault.

If you just can't get out of water lock here is the way.

Water lock turns on automatically when you start a swim workout in the Exercise app . Firmly tap your screen twice (Charge 5, Charge 6, Inspire 2, Inspire 3, and Luxe), press the button twice (Sense and Versa 3), or press the button once (Sense 2 and Versa 4) to turn off water lock.

Restart the watch if the water lock stays on.
