Sense 2 not working at all

I just opened my box yesterday that I received in the mail. I attached the charger and nothing. I tried doing the setup and nothing. My Bluetooth says it’s connected to the sense 2, but nothing shows on the sense 2 screen. When I hold the button 10 seconds, the Fitbit logo comes on. It flashes blue and then a red X appears on the screen and then it goes black. I was all excited to get the sense 2, but now I’m extremely disappointed. Not sure what is going on.

"The red x" normally indicates something  has gone wrong during update/setup.If several (4 -- 5) restarts by pressing the button does not help, try to perform these steps:

 

  • Press and hold down the side button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off.
  • After the screen turns off, you feel a short vibration.When you feel the vibration, release the button,
  • then immediately press and hold the button again
  • .Wait until the watch vibrates, then the Fitbit logo appears and disappears.
  • When it disappears, lift your finger off the button again for a moment and press it down once more until you feel one final vibration, then release–this indicates your Fitbit is performing a factory reset.
