Is it just me, or when a notification hits my new Sense 2, the screen doesn't wake. So I have to manually turn on the phone to see the notification, which removes the whole great subtle check thing. Now it's obvious I'm turning on a watch to read a message.
I've tweaked all settings I can find. Is this just how it is?

Hi @shimganar - the watch won't wake if it is not set properly.
Things to double check:
- pull down watch face to get to Quick Settings and turn off all icons
- make sure that the Notifications appear in the phone Status bar
- make sure the phone is displaying the Fitbit App
- make sure the watch is syncing
Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
- in the Fitbit App, click profile photo, device photo and setup notifications and App notifications
Things to do
- restart the watch
- logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window, and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it
- restart the phone
- login to that app and wait for any pair and link prompts and sync
- How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

@shimganar this is a design decision. Notifications don't wake up watch screen. You need to either turn or tap screen (depends on your settings) to wake up the screen. It's is a different behaviour than on original Sense.

I've done all of these things and my Sense 2's screen absolutely will NOT wake unless I press the button when I get a notification. It will wake normally at the flick of a wrist every other time. I'm receiving the notifications just fine, it just seems that receipt of notifications is forcing the screen into a no-wake state.

Turning my wrist doesn't wake it during times when notifications would be displaying, regardless of settings. I have to press the button.
