Don't think so as everyone that commented as well as the reviewers all noticed that the Sense 2 doesn't behave like the older Versa. My Versa 2 immediately showed the notifications. For the time being you will get the vibrate that a notification has arrived but you now have to wake up the screen by either tapping it, press the button or do a gesture if you have enabled wake up using button or gesture. Then the next thing you will see who or what sent the notification and then staring at the blank screen like an idiot it will show what the message is about.
You may want to go to the feature request section and lend your vote to correct this strange behavior. My guess is that it has to do with the new operating system that is being used by the Sense 2.
