Sense 2 often stops counting temporarily at 9981 steps

Many days, not every day, my Sense 2 will just stop counting temporarily at 9981 steps. Yes, exactly that many every time. I actually have trouble walking and get a lot of my steps on a mini elliptical. Most of the time, it counts at least 50 steps/ minute. When it gets to 9981, it sometimes just won't count at all. So, 5 minutes on the elliptical will get me 30 steps, if I was 30 shy of 9981 before. It's really the strangest thing.

Hi @meresydotes - this may be related to an automatic syncing issue. Try with phone Bluetooth turned off.

Interesting. Why would syncing cause step counting to pause at a consistent count regularly?

@meresydotes   Does this happen with other clock faces?  Are you using Facet, the Sense 2 default clock face?

Hmm. I've been using the same do it yourself clockface for years. Maybe  I'll change when I get close today.
