Sense 2 "to pay, double press the left side button and tap payments" keeps randomly popping off

Has any one noticed where their Fitbit will randomly vibrate and when you go to look at it all it says is "To pay, double press the left side button and tap payments"

Am I accidently bumping a button for this to activate? Are others seeing excessive notifications on this? Is there a way to turn this feature off? It's getting to the point that I'm worried that the battery is going to drain with the amount of times this has gone off.

I see an area for shortcuts to change but it's only for a long button press.

I see this message sometimes. Especially if you are walking through a turnstile with authorization. I think that the watch is noticing that there is same frequency as a **ahem** and gives you a short hint that you need to enable the credit card first.

Haven't found a way to disable this hint (but keeping Fitbit Pay enabled).

Just migrated from a Charge 4 to the Sense 2, and so far wish I hadn't bothered.  The "To Pay..." message is vibrating and coming up at least every hour since I strapped the device to my wrist.  I will never use the pay feature, and want it to stop.  Any clues appreciated.

Else, still fumbling with tiles not being where I want, and things like exercises I will never use still being show to me - why can't they be editable?  And can't figure out the shortcut setup to save my life.

Perhaps this is just new-device-itis, but it's not been a great introduction.  Maybe tomorrow.

Did you ever come up with a solution? I am having the same issue

I returned mine, and am just living with my Charge 4 with its diminished battery.  Perhaps sometime in the future, when they've sorted all of these bugs out.  Good luck.

I've only had mine for about half a day so I can't speak to it doing it hourly, but I first started it up, it was doing this every few minutes.

I figured out (at least my issue) that it had to do with the display settings. Under "Screen Wake" I initially had it set to "button and motion" but after I set it to "button only" it stopped doing it.

I think just small wrist movements were making it think I was trying to check the screen constantly and that message is just the first thing that comes up whenever I activate the screen.

Now if only I could get it to not show me that message every time I press the button...

Good luck.  I would have gone with a Charge 5, but they removed (!) staircase tracking on that device.  Seriously.  What are these people thinking?

Yes, disturbing to the point i want to totally disable this “feature”. I thought i was being hacked. What was it asking to pay?

I exchanged my device and the problem went away, I had a defective unit.  Now if my credit card would work with google wallet. This device is a total headache
