Sense 2 red x

Hi my sense 2 has not worked in months, I've tried troubleshooting everything that's suggested for others on this forum. Since the update pushed by Support to address battery issues - of which - I previously had none.

Now, my sense2 logo flashes and a red x appears. If I  plug it in, I can sometimes get it to reset and "charge" 

It appears to have battery life, according to the screen saying it has charge, even when I know it shouldn't,  it should be totally flat. .

I have reset it.

I have deleted it from my phone, unpaired it etc and added it back.

While plugged in, I can navigate these things to attempt to reinstall it, it will partially complete the install.

However, if zi take it off the charger, my screen is on, appearing normal until it times out  - then nothing . Black screen. It vibrates if I press the button to wake it, then same loop over again, the logo flashes flollowed by a red x.

If I go through this whole process again and get it back to the point where the screen is on and do not let it time out - as soon as I select the settings option the screen goes black and it begins all over again.

It is unusable.

I have a watch I paid in excess of $400, less than 12 months ago, that doesn't work. 

How do I get this repaired / replaced under warranty? It clearly doesn't work obviously an issue with your software, caused by an update that I did not trigger. I'm so disappointed that my birthday present no longer works, I'm paying a premium subscription on a product I can't use.
