I just got a Sense 2 a few days ago and this is my first fitbit so I'm not sure if this is the normal behavior, but when I have a set alarm that starts ringing, I see the screen for half a second before the screen goes black, I don't have time to tap the off or snooze button. I have to interact with it (tap screen, hit button, etc.) for the screen to turn back on, and I again only have a split second to hit the snooze/off button and if I don't, the screen goes off again. Only around the 3rd time I do this does the screen stay on.
I've tried checking the screen timeoff and it's at 6 seconds, and I've tried restarting my fitbit as well, but I've still had the same issue.

Same, screen not coming on for alarm or notifications, set the timeout to 60 seconds but it ignored it, screen even goes out while interacting with it.
However the display timeout of 60 seconds which wasn't working yesterday decided to work in the middle of the night, lighting up the whole room, with no way to turn it off !!
Eventually I got it back to 6 seconds and still had to wait for it to go out!

I’m having the same problem. Very frustrating and sometimes leads to getting snooze set rather than dismiss because I’m frantically tapping trying to get it to come up and tap again quickly before it disappears. Please fix!

Throughout these different threads this has been reported as a problem and for me it is the notifications. The notification arrives, the watch vibrates but noting on the screen. You deliberately have to wake it up either through button, tapping or gesture then first of all the app or sender information appears then you sit there like an idiot waiting for the message to be displayed. This was also reported by reviewers from reputable sources.
To me it looks like with the dumbing down of the smart watch features this must have been introduced as a feature or it is done on purpose for increasing battery life. Has anyone tried and seen what happens with notifications when the display is in Always On mode?
