Hi there @Frdracfan! A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thank you for your question about how to update the app in the Play Store.

Which phone do you use?

Please try to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. Note: Before you uninstall the app, verify that your phone is running a supported version of Android OS. If your phone is on an older version, you won’t be able to reinstall the app. For OS requirements, see Fitbit-compatible devices.

You can try to update the app this way too:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Manage apps & device.
  4. Under “Updates available,” tap See details.
  5. Next to the app you want to update, tap Update.
  6. To update all your apps at the same time, tap Update all.
