I just got my Sense 2 yesterday and do really like it. It seems the SP02 sensor is far more accurate than my last 2 Amazfit's and the HR sensor seems to work great. The only major problem I am finding is the step count is way way off. I've logged 3500 steps today but haven't done anything except lay on my couch, threw ball for my dog for 5 minutes and made breakfast and dinner. I have actually logged 33 steps just typing this.
Any ideas how to fix this? I have restarted and the firmware is up to date. Steps, Sp02 and HR are very valuable to me due to illness and I just hate to return it.
Thanks

I found moving my arm/hand registers ‘steps’ ie when typing, cleaning etc. It’s not too off as I wear it on my non dominant hand.

@jumuj8 @Cbat67 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your messages.
Fitbit devices have a finely-tuned algorithm for step counting.
The algorithm is designed to look for intensity and motion patterns that are most indicative of people walking and running.
When working at a desk, cooking, or performing other activities with arm movements, a device on your wrist may add some steps.
When you’re doing activities that involve arm movement—such as working or cooking—you often walk a few steps in-between stationary periods as well, so the device tries to give you credit for those steps.
For most customers, the number of extra steps added by arm-based movement isn’t significant when compared to your overall stats. For more information, see How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?
