Sense 2 won't recognize heart rate during exercise

My Sense 2 is less than 6 months old.   During exercise modes it will not record heart rate or sporatiacly records my heart rate, therefore no meaningful stats are produced.   When not in exercise mode heart rate is constantly being tracked.  Support had me do a firmwear update yesterday (08/06/23) and now, not only does my Sense 2 not record heart rate, it ends the exercise session about 5 mins in.  Very frustrating, about all it does now is record steps.

I've proceeded to send your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance with this, but I've been informed that you already got in touch with them and it seems they've provided you with some instructions. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.
