And that means that it has not recently synced. At each sync, it takes the time and date from your phone.  I realize this doesn't solve your problem, but the issue you have to solve is why haven't you been able to sync.

My steps are (1) restart watch, (2) reboot phone, (3) try to manually sync fitbit; if no success, try same process in a couple of hours.  If no success then, call support.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
