Nothing like having to reset your Fitbit mid work out! Some days my Fitbit cooperates during my workout, other days it will either crash during my workout, or it won’t register my heart rate correctly. I’ll be on the stair master for 5 min, can feel my heart pounding through my chest, and my Fitbit will say it’s below rage at 93. The only advice I can find to fix this is to reset it, which is a pain during my workout. I don’t need my Fitbit to workout, but seeing the data is the best way to motivate me, I love seeing my progress. Might consider investing in another smart watch…

Hi there, @Steferny. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Sense 2 is still not tracking your workouts or heart rate properly. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
Note that you might unintentionally press the button on your watch when you bend your wrist. This may happen during activities such as a workout that require you to move your wrist a lot. Since there's no way to lock your Sense 2 during workouts, please try wearing your watch higher on your wrist to avoid hitting the button. For tips on how to wear your watch, see How do I wear my Fitbit device?
As for the heart rate, please see What factors can affect my heart-rate on my Fitbit device?
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Totally agree. Mine stops tracking workout and not registering heart rate zones. Seriously considering changing from Fitbit

Having same issues for several months now. Sometimes in a workout I will notice that the heart rate, steps, time elapsing all has just frozen - then it will "magically" kick back in and start again. Have yet to find the "fix" in the moment that consistently makes it go back to tracking once it freezes. Then the inaccuracies with tracking ... other day ex. - heart rate while doing a cardio/dance workout is a 67 ??? ( It usually would be in cardio/peak zone and had been 20 mins earlier.) Then later while sitting/reading, it's was at 108... Also, steps aren't consistently tracked or accurate. When it all first started with the various bugginess, I thought is it was just weird blips - but they have kept happening and seem to be getting more frequent and worse. Done all the trouble shooting - some days the tracking functions seem to work okay and other days it is blatantly wrong or not functioning. My Sense 2 is a repplacement for a Sense that I had for 3 years that was consistent always worked until it literally just came apart. So I went out immediately and got the Sense 2 to replace it. it has never worked as dependably and consistently as my other Sense. When I have checked the forums over the last few months and seen others with similar issues, I relaized it wasn't just me.... But with no concrete fixes from support after a long list of "troubleshooting" ideas, eventually the reply is that the next software upgrade will possibly fix the glitches. So I have sat tight and hoped that would be the case. Now I am no longer trust that answer as well as my Sense 2 stats, so, like another poster, am looking just throwing out FItBit/Google and going with a different, more dependable brand.

Hello,
I have gone through all the “user error” possibilities that were suggested to me every time I have a complaint about this and it hasn’t changed anything. The last complaint I posted I watched my watch crash during my workout without me touching anything. I am currently on the treadmill now doing a vigorous steep incline walk and my heart rate shows “below zone” at 110 when I test it on the treadmill monitor, it say 156… that’s way off. And no, my watch it not too tight or too loose, I clean it often as suggested by the articles sent to me. Some days it’s on point and some days it’s not, and when it’s not it ruins my workout because I’m spending time fidgeting with it trying to make it work so my active zone minutes for the day are properly logged.

Hi @Steferny ...
I guess I'm wondering if there is some sort of conflict with the Bluetooth interface.
Have you tried using each device by itself? I sometimes see similar behavior with my NordicTrack treadmill with its heart rate monitor vs. my tracker.
Just a thought. Good luck.
