Sense 2 won't turn on after firmware update, only get big red X I got a solution that worked for me

Today I called Fitbit helpline after a couple of weeks of fitbit turning off in the middle of the day and wouldn't turn back on until it was plugged to charger, it had battery juice, it just wouldn't turn on.  And then finally 2 days ago it stopped turning on even though it was charged.  The rep walked me thru turn on device and walked me in how to do a factory reset.  Things I had already tried multiple times in the past 2 weeks.  Also in the middle of these 2 instructions she had told me to turn off and on my bluetooth on my phone and to see if I saw an Update option in the Fitbit app screen, I didn't.  She instructed me to add a new device-Sense2, this deleted my current Sense2 out of app. Which I did not want to do because it was going to ask me to input 4 digit code reflecting on the watch, a watch that wouldn't stay on.  She explained my watch wasn't responding and that she could only  offer either 35% or 55% off (I couldn't make out the number) of my next fitbit because my device was not responding and it was out of warranty.  I said I wanted to talk to her supervisor bc I thought this was not right.  Fitbit pushed the firmware to my device.  It's not something I did wrong.  While I was waiting to be transferred to supervisor.  I thought, let me try doing factory reset, while it was resetting I decided to turn off bluetooth on my phone and turn it back on, selected my Sense 2 that was still listed as a bluetooth device on my options, when the reset finished I had the 4 digit code reflecting in my watch, I went back to the fitbit app (never closed it, I was still on the page where it was asking for the 4 digit code to add new Sense 2)  and it worked!.  Then the screen on the watch said there was an update to press update.  I did and now it's seems like its working again.  Keep in my mind that while I was on the phone with Fitbit doing all the protocol and pushing this and that the Fitbit was connected to charger.

I hope this helps someone else to fix their fitbit sense 2.  I have loved and owned a couple of Fitbit  products in a 10 year span and  I was really bummed my 1.5 yrs old fitbit was doing this and it was a lost cause.  I had told the Fitbit rep I was not buying another fitbit if it was going to stop working because something was pushed to them that will make them stop working.

I'm crossing my fingers my fitbit is good now and will last me a few more years.
