Never had this before ... usually when I go outside UK, fitbit automatically changes to new time zone! Have honestly tried everything ... restarted phone & watch; toggled, untoggled automatic time zone and synched; manually added different time zone; re-installed app!  Phone should be five hours behind in country am visiting but its 2 hours behind! Help!!!

Hi there, @DGH66. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Sense 2 is not updating the time when traveling outside the UK. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Does your phone show the correct time? Is your Sense 2 syncing correctly? Please keep in mind that your Fitbit device may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with.

In addition to the steps you've tried, please try the following:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Fitbit settings (if you sign in with Google Account) or settings (if you sign in with Fitbit login).
  2. In the App Settings section, tap Date, time & units.
  3. Tap Time Zone.
  4. Turn off the Set Automatically option and choose the correct time zone.
  5. Sync your Fitbit device.
  6. If the time is still incorrect, log out of the Fitbit app, and then log back in before syncing again.

Hello

I was messaging Andrea ... basically I did everything she asked

I've somehow lost our correspondence

Im thinking I may do a factory reset ... or will have to not wear my watch
which isnt great as I need that for my WhatsApp messages for work

Personally I think the recent time change is at hand ... so frustrating!

Hi @DGH66 - just in case, did you try changing clock face? The watch should match the time on the phone with the actions you did, so make sure that is correct also.

If the phone is showing the wrong time check it's settings, possibly a location, VPN or mobile data issue is not correct.

Puerto Rico is currently 4 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). It doesn't change to summer time but the UK does.

If the phone is correct try another country manually that is GMT-4.
