Your time zone is connected to the phone app, not the device itself. Which platform are you using?

Hi @jenhigs - when the watch syncs it recalibrates the watch time to that of the telephone.
If the watch rebooted itself due to a problem (and was unnoticed) or manually restarted or stopped, it can lose time in chunks, not just seconds.
If the watch isn't syncing well it may not recalibrate the time again.
If the clock face has a fault it can cause a reboot or if the watch has a fault. It's worth changing clock face if the problem repeats itself then you will know better where the problem lies.
These may help
How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?
Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
