Sense 2 wristband disconnects

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

New Sense 2 has dropped off my wrist twice. Once with original band and again with a new band I purchased from Fitbit. This is ALARMING since both times I didn’t realize the watch dropped and I came across it inadvertently as I was walking. I’m upset the technology to hold the watch in place isn’t a priority in manufacturing. It’s a hassle to research if this is a warranty issue and get a replacement. I’m considering adding a drop of super glue to the space where band snaps in… this should not be the solution. I’ll never be able to switch out style of bands.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Finale. I'm sorry to hear that your Sense 2 drops due to the bands.

I understand how frustrating this could be and please check our help article: How do I wear my Fitbit device? with tips of attaching the wristbands.

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @Finale!

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Sense 2.
As what you've mentioned shouldn't happen if your using genuine Fitbit bands with your device there seems to be something wrong with the attachment mechanism on your device. Thus I'd suggest to contact Fitbit support for further support:

Greetings, good topic.  Is there a listing somewhere that says which bands are compatible with which models?  For instance, a sense band I think should be compatible with sense 2 but I could be wrong.

I had the same issue with my sense 2 original band, almost lost it 3 times. Ironically, after switching to a cheap knock-off replacement band I have not had a single problem with the band coming off. Customer service will always say it's user error but this is definitely not a case of user error.

Thanks for getting back to us @Talahthas@LeaderSmall@five8s

@Talahthas, I appreciate your feedback and advise.

@LeaderSmall, you can find at the Fitbit Store which models fit the wristbands on the left side.

@five8s, thank you for your comments.

Thanks for the input and advice. I’m going to leave it as is for now. Past 2 weeks no problem.

Rest assured I have researched all the manual instructions which are really nil when it comes to “attachment issues.” The band that detached is a Fitbit product that I paid full price for on website.

thanks…. Happy Halloween
