Sense2, can't view notifications without using the button.

I just updated to a sense 2 after a versa 2 and am used to seeing notifications without touching my watch.   How do I do that on the sense 2? Nothing pops up onto the screen,  except calls,  without pushing the button.

TIA!.

Hi @Jellen00 - this is one of the known faults with the original firmware.

Wait till you receive a notification of s firmware update or do a factory reset to move to a later version, which may have other problems and might still not be as slick as the Versa 2.

Hi @Jellen00Welcome to our community forums!

I'm sorry to hear that your notifications don't pop up on your Sense 2 screen.

It is important to verify the requirements below, as failure to meet any of them may cause problems with receiving notifications:

  1. Are notifications enabled on your Sense 2? Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the quick settings icon. Make sure Do Not Disturb and Sleep modes are turned off.
  2. Does your phone have Do Not Disturb disabled?
  3. Is your phone up to date?
  4. Do you have your app allowed to run in the background?
  5. Please confirm that Power Saver is not enabled on your phone as this feature disables Bluetooth. Phone Settings / Battery / Power Saving Mode
  6. Make sure your phone receives notifications when it's locked. On your phone, tap Settings / Apps & Notifications / Notifications / Notifications on Lock Screen.
  7. To receive app notifications, make sure they're delivered to your phone. On your phone, tap Settings / Apps & Notifications / Notifications and look for Recently Sent.

Once you verified the requirements please restart your Sense 2 by pressing and hold the button until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen.
