Hey gang.
Unfortunately, it seems my Sense 2 has stopped calculating my sleep correctly. I've had it for 2 and a 1/2 years, so not a noob - but the sleep stages and sleep score are not recalculating when I try to edit sleep. One of the cool parts of the Fitbit is that you can go back in and edit sleep. I have historically used this edit sleep and delete sleep features and it worked pretty flawlessly most nights on recalibrating and recalculating. Now when I try to edit sleep, it just goes back to exactly the same bar of sleep stages, the same sleep score and nothing recalculates?
This only started in the last week to 2 weeks, if that helps locate the change, or update potentially on your side. Something you can roll back.maybe? If not, I have no idea what the issue would be, and appreciating your support. Thank You!

I saw one app update (dated November 5) that showed up in my update list about the 12th or so. No help with that update. We need to contact them again to let them know. I was told it was with engineering, too.
I’ve had my watch on “sensitive” since I was first told to do it, but it is no different than it was before. It missed one night completely. When I added it in manually, I got no “Premium” features at all, just basic straight line as if it was an hour nap. So frustrating!
I agree… hope it’s not just kicking the can to the curb.
---
Oh yeah? Don’t know why we are having this problem? We didn’t before so the question is: what changed in October and when will it be fixed. We need a couple of 10 year olds to fix it! 🤪 Couldn’t be any worse!
---
Don’t know if it’s firmware or software. I’ve had no updates on my watch that I’m aware of. I couldn’t find an app update for October either. The issue just “appeared” like magic.
When you turn off Bluetooth, does it actually give you the whole night’s Premium data when you turn Bluetooth back on? Or does it just do the flatline like a nap?
---
I’ve not been able to pin down when or how, just sometime in October.
---
No fix in that update.
---
When you edit sleep times to include longer periods, does your graph and sleep score change at all? I find that if it’s less time - say 10 minutes extra “awake” time at beginning or end, it works as always. If I try to add time that it missed, “time” changes and so does heart rate, but sleep stage graph and score does not change to reflect new data. Adding manually gives no Premium features at all, just flat line of sleep and restless.
---
Seems that if enough people give bad apples reviews and/or contact tech support (not much actual help there) and say they are planning to stop premium and go elsewhere (such as Apple Watch), it appears to get their attention. 🙄 We will see if it actually helps, but it will likely take some time. They just don’t have enough 10 year olds gamers on staff to find the issue and fix it.

Hello community. I run my Fitbit from an iPhone and I just got the sense to not even a week and a half ago. have had the problem since receiving it and it’s the most important piece of information that I need.

This issue is not being fixed and is getting progressively worse. My husband’s sleep data for the night picked up only 2 hours of sleep from 1 am to 3 am when I know he fell asleep around 10:30 pm and has slept peacefully through the night. When I put in the correct information, fitbit does not put in the premium info as has been sporadically the case. Instead, all that shows up is the useless flatline info. This is not what we are and have for years been paying for in the Premium package. Unbelievable that Google chooses to not fix this critical issue!

I use an iPhone, too, with a Charge 4.
So… here’s the latest I’ve received from tech support on my case: they have another update expected to be rolled out on or about 11/25, so keep your eye out for that.
In addition, unfortunately, Google is starting to drop support for some of the Fitbit watches. Although a lot of them are still getting the support, Google is heavily marketing the Pixel Watch w/Fitbit app. They are also requiring users to link their Fitbit to a Google account by the end of the year. They claim it will “improve security”… I don’t buy it. That said, I finally caved on that a couple weeks ago. 🙄🫣 I really “strongly” (read between the lines) don’t like big tech… I don’t trust them.
It appears, from info I can find, that the Charge 6 is the Google “smaller” go to watch after the Pixel. I’ve had a Charge 4 forever - I’m a small woman, so the big watches look and feel way too big on me. I’m considering an Apple Watch, but they are so big and heavy/bulky that I’m not sure I’d be able to sleep with it on (that’s my main reason for having the Fitbit - sleep tracking) so I’m still just considering. The price and battery life is also a common negative on the Apple Watch, though price + subscription for Fitbit app ends up being a bit more than the Apple, but the cost is spread out more, depending on how frequently you buy a new watch.
I say… hang in there for a bit longer. We will see if Google really cares about their Fitbit customers. Good luck to us all!

I agree totally! With my Versa 4, it is the same issue! I cancelled premium plan recently and when my current premium plan expires in January it won’t automatically renew! No point in paying extra for something we are not getting! If everyone would do this it might get someone’s attention within the company…..seems this is a ploy to get us all to buy Google watches! Which are on average $100 more!

Any thoughts on when this will be fixed ??? Shame that SOOO many issues take SOOOO long to fix now that Google has taken the reigns. Still waiting for the hourly activity goals to be fixed. Nightmare takeover.

Last word I got was that the update “rollout is expected to be completed by November 25th”. Last update I saw was dated November 5th and didn’t help a thing.
I sent another email noting that I haven’t received any new updates so we will see if they can get their act together.

I remember getting a very small update on my phone sometime in the last couple of days.

We got updates to version 4.57 during the last week or so. The only difference we see now is the "Fitbit Labs Plan for Care" window is taking up a large section of the initial display and you now have to scroll over for "Ready to hit your target" and other items. One step forward (maybe) and one step back it seems. YMMV 🤔

Hey! That definitely sounds frustrating, especially since the edit-sleep feature used to work smoothly. If it suddenly stopped recalculating in just the last week or two, it really might be connected to a recent update on Fitbit’s side. A lot of people seem to get weird bugs after silent updates.
Maybe try the usual steps, restarting the device, reinstalling the app, or syncing it again - but honestly, if it’s something on Fitbit’s end, none of that will fully fix it until they patch it. I hope they can roll it back or push a quick update soon.
I’ve had similar moments with other apps too, like even when I’m trying to relax on 3Patti Land and some random update breaks something for a few days. Tech can be annoying like that.
Hope support gets this sorted for you!
