Can anyone please help. I have spoken to Fitbit and Google (essentially the same I guess) about the google wallet issue I have. Each time I try to use it or set it up I get;
"Something went wrong. Error connecting to Sense 2. Make sure it is close by and turned on"
It's so annoying. I have removed and reinstalled the app, updated software/firmware. Cleared data and cache but I get the same error everytime and all google can do is say can you please send a bug report and the make, which I have!!

Chatted with FitBit yesterday and the answer I got is that they are aware of the problem and they are working on it. I asked why would they remove FitBit pay without making sure that the Google Pay was going to work. No reply from FitBit. It is an inconvenience.
I'm having the same problem. I talked with Fitbit support and says my problem has been escalated and will contact me through email. I haven't received anything yet. 😞 The reason I got this watch was to use this feature.

Best AnswerExact same thing happened to me TODAY.... used my first sense 2 for 4 months...with google wallet and it worked fine.
Then my watch started acting up so they sent a replacement and baaammmmmmmm got the same error message....
Sooooo frustrating.
Nothing new.... It's been an issue for months now. No resolution.

I'm on my 3rd Fitbit Sense 2. I get this big red X, and it goes dead. When I chat with customer service they try to run me through all these try this and try that... they don't seem to understand when I say it will not turn back on, period.
My Google Wallet does not work, and hasn't on any of my Sense 2's.
There customer service is horrible. They never help. It's super frustrating:(
