Spike in Breathing Rate

My breathing rate has always been between 12 and 16 for the past few years of wearing my Fitbit every night. However last night it spiked and went up to 24 !!  Anyone else had this? I'm very concerned at the moment as this is the first time it has spiked like this in a couple of years??

I would ignore it unless it continues as a pattern. I have noticed the exact thing with my old Versa 3, but haven’t had it happen with the Sense 2 yet. It only happened a couple of times with the Versa. 

iPhone 12mini/current version iOS. Fitbit Versa 3 and Apple Watch SE.
