The status indicators that exist on the Sense and Versa 3 have been dropped on the Sense 2 and Versa 4.

It feels like they rewrote the OS from the ground up, weren't able to implement all the features in time. Another feature missing is the possibility to cover the screen with your palm to turn it off.
I feel like the Sense 2 would have been a great tracker/smartwatch with the propper software. But for some odd reason they decided to rush the launch, and didn't complete the os.
Same feeling. It looks like a Sense but it is a brand new watch whose software development started from scratch without benefiting from the years of consolidation on Fitbit Versa and Sense devices. Let's see how fast and if they have the willingness to recover or if they intend to catch new customer having no ideas of the previous models and satisfied from what is delivered (but for this, they will have from my point of view to reduce the price... This is seriously too expensive for what is delivered currently)
@BenSF The navigation section says you can turn it off by turning your wrist away from you. This seems like a very odd "fix" for something that isn't broken. My opinion.

Best Answer@LZeeW As long as you activate wrist movement wakeup, yes. If you set it so it only wakes up when you press the button, your only option is to wait 6 seconds for it to turn off, because the sidebutton now opens the apps menu instead of turning off the screen. This is what I mean by half baked software. They changed/removed functionality without thinking about how that would affect the day to day use of the device.
