My sense 2 is around 18 months old. The charge used to last around 6 days. Recently it I am warned about low battery in less than 48 hours. I have not knowingly changed any settings. Is this a dying battery or are there setting I can check.. I don't use GPS or always on.

Hi @TonyGr

Have you recently changed clock faces? Sometimes these can cause excessive battery drain. Another one to check is making sure that the spO2 app is not installed (if you don't use that feature). Also I would recommend restarting the watch by pressing the button for 10 seconds.

If you are still experiencing issues then it could well be an aging battery. In this case it would be worth speaking to customer support (here) and see if there is anything they can do.

Fitbit refuses categorically to give information about their batteries. If you see most other device brands, eg Apple, they tell you how many cycles the battery has at normal use. Normally for devices like ours that is 300 cycles. SInce Fitbit say each charge is about 6 days, that should give you 1800 days, ie about 5 years of regular use.

Their batteries are clearly failing to do that, which is why you get confused answers if you ask them about how long their batteries are meant to last, going on about how "battery life" depends on use and multiple factors.  A battery "charge" does. Battery *life* is given as a benchmark by the manufacturer. I go through this in more detail in this post: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Sense-2/Battery-life-cycles-vs-battery-charge/m-p/5482452#M13646

Follow all troubleshooting, restart, make sure it's not switched to "Always on Display"--but if all that is ok, you should contact them. Not sure what warranty plan you have.  Good luck!
