Time series for research

I want to use Fitbit sense 2 or other Fitbit device to track heart rate and stress level.

Is it possible to get daily time series of such values? What is the time step? Would be nice to have records every 30 seconds.

I want to collect the data for several weeks. Should i export it daily or it saves the time series for a long time?

Are there any more suitable devices for these purposes?

Hi @ThomasResearch - when a watch syncs it uploads the data to Fitbit servers where it is retained indefinitely.

You can export the data, preferably once the period for research is complete, as it takes some time. But a sample will show you what's available, frequency and format.

Alternatively you can access the data in a clock face (for a Sense 2 or Versa 4) or an app on other watches, using calls.

The web API forum may be helpful for that route and as it is more complex and would only be sensible if you need the recent data sooner.
