So I set off on my walk, select ‘walking’ check it’s working and set off … I’m not talking about going to the shops but a non stop walk …. And when I get back home I find it’s shut down, this last time it shut down 20 minutes into a 30 minute walk … not the first time … so annoying jean
Same here, can't register a decent walk. Don't see any error message, I just started using it again after a couple of months. Did a factory reset and turned off auto stop.

Best AnswerYou need to click on the full activity list and select walking. Then scroll down to settings like GPS and turn off auto off.
To clear up things, it didn't work for me. It still stops even with the correct settings. But I hope it works for you.
