Weather unit on Sense 2 Trails clock face is wrong

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Can the premium trails watch face by Fitbit be adjusted so you can choose what format the temperature data appears in? Or make it pull that from the weather app settings? My weather app is set to degrees Celsius, but on the watch face it appears as Fahrenheit. There currently is no option to change it.

Hi there, @Ayla15.

Thanks for letting us know about this situation. This is odd as the clock face should use the same units selected for the Weather app. Because this isn't your case, let me recommend the following:

  1. Forget your Sense 2 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. On your phone's settings, make sure the location services are enabled.
  3. Restart your watch to refresh its performance.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Sense 2 > Gallery.
  5. From My Clocks, tap Trails clock face icon > See all details and make sure the Permissions are enabled.
  6. Double check if the units for the Weather app are still correct.
  7. Tap Today tab at the bottom of the app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.

Hi @LizzyFitbit, I tried your suggestions in this order, but it unfortunately didn’t work. Deleting the clock face and re-installing it also didn’t work.

@Ayla15 It's good to see you here again.

Thanks for trying the suggested steps and I'm sorry you're still having this issue. To look into this, may I know the model and OS version of your phone? Also, if possible, please take a picture of the clock face as well as an screenshot of the Weather app settings. You can attach your pictures to your reply by following the steps from this post.

In the meantime, let's try reconnecting your Sense 2 to the Fitbit app and see if that helps:

  1. Forget your watch from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Select your Sense 2, tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. Make sure the Weather app units are correct. Please note the Weather settings differ from the temperature settings. For more details, see this help article.

Hi

sorry for the long wait, I thought I answered but apparently didn’t. I have a iPhone 13 max pro with iOS 16.2. I’m going to try attaching the pictures in a separate post, because I’m getting errors.
I tried your steps and it unfortunately didn’t work.

A lot of the time the trails premium clock face will not show the information (such as readiness, sleep rating, etc.) It will sometimes it will take hours after waking up to show the information and then later in the day the info will just disappear again
