Wet device not working

Hello, I took my Fitbit to the shower, normally I take it off but this time I forgot. It got wet and no longer works. I already read the recommendations when this happens and followed all the recommended steps but it still doesn't work, it turns on for a while and turns off. What should I do?

Hi @Mikeqro - if it comes on it is possible that another issue is causing a problem, try changing clock face when it is on and syncing. A long gentle press on the screen may enable you to change clock face.

Try also charging it, as the battery may simply be low and if it gets hot stop immediately, it is dangerous ( from internal damage ).

When on pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings and check the battery level.

If it's still under warranty it can be replaced.
