Why do i feel like my workout didnt count unless it was tracked?

The things i like about my fitbit are seeing my workouts, sleep quality (which now sucks. Thanks update), and steps/miles. I guess i check the time a lot but like i have a phone.

My fitbit is ugly and its like wait why am i wearing this? And its bc i feel like my workouts dont count unless i do. Am i too addicted to this thing that doesnt matter??
