Will there be new features on Sense 2?

I moved to fitbit luxe from garmin venu 2 because of its ugly look. But I'm missing its body battery(quite accurate) and real time stress. Fitbit tells me stats only in the morning. Will there be any new features like garmin's in Sense 2?

If I understand correct there will be all-day stress monitoring (with new sensor). The Garmin's body battery feature uses HRV and there is no mentioning of all-day HRV monitoring on Fitbit (I believe it will be sleep-only as it is now).

I'm really curious to see what the Google Pixel watch will be like in comparison to the Sense 2. I've got the Sense, but frankly find the navigation annoying enough so I only use a fraction of the features. I see that physical buttons are coming back with the Sense 2, so perhaps the navigation will improve. But with the Pixel watch imminent, even if it's costlier, I suspect I'll like the whole experience more (including a better choice of actual watch faces); hopefully we'll have a chance to compare / contrast these soon.

@JonStrong There is one thing we can be probably be certain about with the comparison between the Pixel watch and Sense 2, and that's battery life. It's likely that the Pixel watch (according to rumours) will only have a one day battery life, whereas the Sense 2 claims upto six days.

@ahirameno Fitbit has a feature called "Daily Readiness Score" which gives you a score at the start of the day based on certain metrics. I guess some would compare this to Garmin's body battery, although I don't really know enough about either to say how similar they are.

@N8teGee Ah yes -- you're most likely right. As much as I like unobtrusive accessories, I wish the industry would allow for some trade-offs. For ex: I'd be fine with my cell phone being 1/8" thicker if it could have an extra 24 hours of battery life. Similar feeling with a smart watch. I know we'll want it comfortable if we're expected to wear it around the clock and sleep with it one, but I'd think it possible to engineer a design slimmer at the edges with some more thickness to the center allowing for more of a battery. I'd find one or two days extremely limiting, and frankly don't know when I'd charge it if I expect it to be a health / sleep monitor as well. I suspect you're right, but hope it's not as bad as you anticipate.

@N8teGee DRS is something totally different from BB. BB updates all-day, it includes stress, HRV, activities (those track HRV, too). For example, my current BB looks like this:

DRS (probably) is more similar to Daily Readiness in EliteHRV app and isn't updated all-day.

I expect the new stress tracking in S2/V4 may be something closer to BB.

@t.parker Thanks for the explanation. Yes it would seem that the daily readiness score is a static number, the Garmin body battery seems a lot more useful.
