improved accuracies to come in a firmware update

Does someone in the know have further details to divulge (such as timeframe or what the firmware# shall be numbered)?

Saw the same article yesterday.. usual practice is that they have already started the updates but they roll it out in batches.  Two reasons for the slow rollout, less strain on the servers and damage limitation if there is a bug that the testers missed.

Just noted that the update was available on one of our Sense 2 trackers.  Did the update.  Took about 5 minutes and went smoothly . . . not bad.  Not sure how we will confirm the changes, especially since we don't use YouTube music.  Decided to charge tracker to 100 percent and will monitor battery use to make sure all is well in that regard.  Hopefully others will weigh in with their experience with the update!

The reports on the update say they have updated the HR accuracy as well. 

I don't see that in this list of improvements from Fitbit itself

Is there anyway to confirm if that is true? Would be a major update and breathe new life into the device if it gets the same accuracy as the charge 6.

Started pulling together some of the information about the update once we got the notice it was available.  Some online articles mention improved HR accuracy, but some do not.  Noticed that the “Official” Fitbit Help Center information didn’t have anything about the HR accuracy (for the Sense 2) so posted the short summary from the Google Fitbit page.

Maybe one of the Moderators has an inside track (or source) that can clarify the HR accuracy question 🙄

Sounds great, but I’m not seeing the firmware update option available on my app. 🥺

We received the update option on one tracker and not the other on the phone apps (two Sense 2 trackers in our house).  As @YiG said, they normally roll them (updates) out in batches.  So we patiently wait for the second one 😐  Hang in there . . .

It's been 5 days since release and am yet to get the update! Don't know why Fitbit rolls it so slow!

Be thankful they aren't as slow as Amazon with updates, kindles can take months for the rollout of updates.

The update will release gradualy like 1% daily. By next summer...
