I wenty to use my Fitbit after sometime, and the tracker would not sync up to the app but was connected via bluetooth to my phone

after a factory reset, and deleting the bluetooth connection. the tracker is now "fresh out of the box" however when trying to set the tracker up (with the phone literally under the watch on charger) the fit bit app doesn't recognize the tracker at all. saying it could be out of range, turn phone off and on.

after doing that numerous times. problem still persists and can't get past the set up

please help!

Hi @xzachleex - if you stopped using you watch because of a fault it may still be faulty.

However to check remove both the Bluetooth entries from the phone and turn off Bluetooth.

On the phone, logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it, then restart the phone.

Fully charge the watch and restart it by holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for it to show initial screen.

Then turn phone Bluetooth on again and see if the watch is detected but don't try and pair it if it is, it just confirms the watch is working.

Login again and run the setup again.
