sense 2 won't receive notifications now that I have a new phone.

I got the Sense 2 about 3 months ago. And it worked fantastic and I loved it. About 2 weeks ago I got a new phone. I switched from a Samsung A51 to the Google pixel pro 8.  I no longer receive notifications except to get ready for bed. I have made sure all the notifications are set to on, on the setting in the phone's app selection, I have checked in the app individually, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and tried again. Turned off the watch and off the phone to restart. Nearly everything except calling Beetlejuice.

My phone is always on silent and having my watch vibrate always helped me catch calls. I'm really disappointed, that the watch is nearly useless right now with my new phone. Especially after just getting it 3 months ago 😕  

No step reminders, call or stress notifications. It doesn't pick up I'm on walks anymore. Any other suggestions to fix the issue?

I solved my issue as soon as I posted this 🤦🏼‍:female_sign:. I'll make a list of all things to check in case anyone else has this issue. As much as I tried, I thought my phone wasn't very compatible but it is just fine. 

-go to the setting of your phone, go to apps, and check all the notification settings through the app

-check Bluetooth capabilities (mine has 2 one for watch syncing and the other for calls) make sure both are on

-check individual setting within the app to make sure they are connected.

- check setting withing the watch itself such as quite modes, (focus mode and do not disturb) goal reminders.

- as asked by any IT, "did you turn it off and give it 30 seconds before rebooting?"
