Hi everyone,
I have had my Fitbit Sense for a little over 1 month now and already I am seeing issues.
Issue #1 - The exercise "app" will no longer launch. This is a critical issue that has to be fixed. As it stands, the Sense is unusable if you cannot launch the exercise app. What is happening is I launch it on the Sense, it shows the "Exercise" app loading and then goes right back to the menu which shows "EDA Scan", "Alexa", "Today" and "Exercise". Failure to launch. I have rebooted the Sense multiple times. No affect. I have gone into the Fitbit phone app, confirmed I have the latest version of the software and also cleared cache / cleared storage. After setting up the phone app again to talk to my Fitbit sense after the wipe, still the exercise app will not launch. Unusable.
Issue #2 - The webpage advertises the Sense as capable of 6+ days of battery life. If true, my Sense has been out of compliance from day 1. I normally see 3-4 days with not a lot of heavy use (GPS, etc).
Can someone provide support here? By the looks of it I have a lemon and need to get a warranty replacement on my new Sense.

Hi @sethington - you could try a Shutdown at the bottom of the watch Settings menu. Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it.
Regarding the battery life, each additional feature enabled uses more battery. You can see if you get the 6 days by addressing the main drainers. See How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.

Thank you for your help, Guy.
Unfortunately, the shutdown and reboot option didnt impact anything.
I ended up following up directly with Fitbit Support and they recommended doing a factory reset and then turning off many of the "battery drainers" as described in your link. It still doesn't hit 6+ days as advertised and I expect it never will if you actually wear and use it. 4-5 (usually 4) days is about the norm nowadays for my typical usage. Not even close to the advertised battery life.
The exercise "App" not launching was indeed fixed by the factory reset.
