I've been wearing a Fitbit of some kind since the middle of 2015 and the Sense is the first one that just won't pick up my heart rate at all. 4 days in and the only thing it tracks is steps. I do wear it over skin that is tattooed but that has never been an issue in the past and I have tried just about every product of theirs minus the Versa. I believe the Surge was my previous model used and it worked like a charm. Anyone else having this issue?

I have been having the same issues with the Sense. I was really looking forward to the new watch and all its features but I’m rather disappointed with it. Especially the way it rates my heart rate during exercise. When I’m doing my training and my heart is pounding in my chest, the watch says 128 bpm!!!! My Versa 1 was way better! This is really unacceptable for the price you pay! If the measurements for heart rate are that much off, all the other ratings have to be off as well. What is fitbit going to do to solve this QUICKLY

Perhaps the sense you got is faulty? Or maybe you've just become so fit that your heart rate is difficult to detect?

I don’t know... I train using heart rate so this is really frustrating. I have read some online reviews and most of them are reporting issues with inaccurate heart rate measurements of the Sense. If my watch is faulty, I would certainly like to know and get it replaced. I’m really looking forward to FitBits answer to this issue!
