Hi I am in Australia and have just joined AIA Health Insurance and they have the AIA Vitality app that is supposed to link with Fitbit but I have had no success in linking them it just won't link at all.
Do I have to buy a new Google watch to link to AIA Vitality.
Its the only reason I joined this Health fund so I can get some points and money back to help with the cost.
Any suggestions much appreciated

Good afternoon. I have no experience with AIA Vitality, but I did read this on their instruction page:
To link your Fitbit account: In your AIA Vitality account, click on 'Link my Fitbit' Log in using your Fitbit account username and password. Make sure you give us access to your "Profile" data when prompted.
That might be a problem that AIA needs to fix, since FitBit moved to using Google accounts as the primary sign-in method. Maybe AIA has some updated instructions somewhere, or their customer support might know?

Hi there, am also having the same issues. I cannot go further than the 'linknow'. Nothing seems to work. Before I was told they could not replicate the issue. Really frustrating!! I think the more users that contact AIA that are having this issue they will seriously look into this.
Can fitbit check that the issue is not from their end? Surely there has to be a solution as what is the point of having an app and a fitness device to connect but nothing seems to work?

I have had Fitbit look into it via an email and they weren't much help but the contact via twitter or X was brilliant and checked everything and it has to be AIA Vitality that has the problem. Hopefully they fix soon for us.

Thanks and yes have done all that and no luck at all. I have contacted Fitbit and it seems it's AIA Vitality that has the problem so hopefully fixed soon.

It seems that way, hey! Hoping AIA can resolve this issue once and for all. I had a look at the community and there were similar posts back in 2019 and then this most recent post. I believe it is not just us but others. Hoping the more AIA is contacted on the issue, we may get a response soon!!
