Accurate tracking of high rate rate

The main reason I purchased the Sense was to track my heart rate and to notify me when it was getting higher.  I get tachycardia and sometimes it goes over 140, which I now find out Sense doesn't track over 120.  What good is it?  I also have AFIB which I was told Sense would be able to give me an ECG of my heart but when I use that app it tells me inconclusive collection of data.  I am thinking of buying an APPLE watch.  I wonder if it's worth the switch.  I've been with Fitbit since the beginning.

Got exactly same problem - my heart rate display goes over 130, but, I get that sitting down! go back to my Old Charge 3 and beat is 62 (which is correct at the time) cannot get decent ECG reading always states 'Inconclusive' due to high heart rate.  As with you bought/upgrade3d the FitBit for the extra features - which I now find don't work - awaiting FitBit response before I go for return and refund

I see the new Sense 2 is out, but I don't think it will make that much difference.  I just don't get it.  I know the technology exists.  My oximeter can tell me what my heart rate is.  I have a Kardia Heart monitor and it can tell me what my heart is doing, the SENSE was supposed to be able to tell me what my heart if doing, but it does not.  I am currently waiting for help from Fitbit help which is another joke.  No one to help.  No email answers.  I have not tried to call, but I might.  I don't like being put on hold for half the day.

Also got Blood Pressure monitor and heart rate etc, but as like you bought it so I could see the rate more.  I have given them until next week for a response (been told its gone to higher technicians!!) if not will return it and get money back - it just doesn't do what its suppose to do

@lmbme I would think with all the complaints, The Sense 2 and Versa 4 won't have the exact same pure pulse 2 heart rate technology as the Sense and Versa 3 do now. They don't seem to be advertising what technology the new models have. Will have to wait for user reports I guess.

Have you tried chat support? I usually get connected live in about 1 minute.

I am in a chat right now. they want me to reset my sense.

I have done that several times and it still does not work.

I have had a sense for a few years but found that in the last week or so tracking of heart rate has become very inaccurate - too high resting rate and low during exercise.  I suspect they changed something and it's not working.  We need to hear from tech support.  Previous to the last week or so, I would get heart rate above 140 with heavy exercise.   Need to hear from Fitbit support to validate my suspicions!!

I did try that.  Not sure if it was a human or AI.  Basically they said the Sense does not track real time heart rate.  WHAT?  That doesn't make any sense at all.  "Fitbit doesn’t analyze your data in real time. If you receive a notification, it means we saw signs of an irregular rhythm that may be AFib in the last 24 hours (with regular device syncing). If not the Fitbit hasn't tracked any irregular rhythm to provide a notification."  This is quoted from convo.

 

What I need is the Sense to notify me when my heart rate changes.  Either high or low and send me an alert on my phone or watch face to let me know something is going on.  I can check my watch face, but when I put on my oximeter I can get a completely different heart rate.  I need a watch that can do as much as the oximeter can.

From what I have been seeing (although have stopped wearing my Sense now !) on my Sense and what FitBit Help Desk are saying and these pages, it seems to be that 'NONE' of the FitBit heart readers (Sense, Sense 2 etc) cannot actually do that function, either in real time or any other time
