After Update battery dies within hours

I updated my sense two days ago. Yesterday the battery was dead, so I charged it (fully) in the afternoon. It was dead by evening. I charged it again (fully) and I died while I was sleeping. Also is VERY hot when I charge it. What the heck is going on? Anyone else tried this?

Hi @Julierask - this might be coincidental with the update, it would seem it is showing signs of water damage. If it gets hot when charging there is most likely already internal damage and stop immediately as it is dangerous.

My Fitbit sense died today after I updated the firmware.  Everything has been brilliant up until then. While I was swimming after the update the counter froze. It buzzed on my arm and went black. The battery minutes before was at 57% so I knew that was ok. It wouldn't restart so I tried to charge it and after two hours it buzzed for a few seconds and died again. Now I haven't got a watch and it's only 6 months old.

No idea what to do next as I'm getting sent to the forums which is just going around in circles.

Anyone find out anything about this please let me know. Cheers

Hi.

While it was in swim mode, did you hit your daily step count goal? Since the update, if I hit my step count goal when in one of the exercise shortcuts in the exercise app the watch will vibrate and then the screen goes blank and then restarts. Unfortunately it terminates my exercise and I have to restart it. Kind of a bummer when running and you are have a distance goal. Luckily i track my runs on my phone too, as the GPS is more accurate than the Sense.
